Messi, who left PSG this year after a dramatic 2-year spell, has been enjoying his time at Inter Miami.
Inter Miami has already signed some big names in the past, such as Gonzalo Higuain, Blaise Matuidi and Rodolfo Pizarro, and they have recently appointed Tata Martino as their new coach. Martino, who coached Messi at Barcelona and Argentina, is also a familiar face for Vidal, who played under him at Paranaense.

In an interview with TNT Argentina, Vidal revealed that he would be very happy to join Messi and another ex-Barcelona colleague, Sergio Busquets, at Inter Miami. He said: “With him [Messi], it’s very easy, just pass the ball to him. In the United States, there are various rules that hinder the entry of older players, so this didn’t happen before. I would be very happy to play with Leo, Busquets – they play with heart, and now Inter Miami plays that way too, with a good coach [Martino].”
Vidal, who is 36 years old, has had a successful career in Europe and South America, winning titles with Juventus, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paranaense. He has also been a key player for the Chilean national team, winning two Copa America trophies and reaching the final of the Confederations Cup. He is known for his aggressive style of play, his tireless work rate and his leadership qualities.
If Vidal does join Inter Miami, he would add more quality and experience to the team’s midfield. He would also pave the way for a new era at the club, which hopes to attract more stars from around the world. And of course, he would reunite with Messi, one of the greatest players of all time, who could also make the move to Florida in the near future.
